    Release 1.7.0-1 and 1.7.0-2

    • iFile cannot read some data from preferences and re-registers every time on iOS 4.x. If this happens to you on iOS 5.x, remove iFile's preferences as described in FAQ topic iFile crashes at start. What can I do to fix this?.
    • When pressing "About iFile" in iFile's Preferences and pressing Done in "About iFile", the Preferences remain empty. Just a restart of iFile fixes this.
    • Copying from a remote directory (Dropbox or FTP) to local storage in a single tab using e.g. bookmarks to switch directories does not work. Please use two tabs (one local, one remote) and copy between them. You can use the two-finger swipe to switch between tabs.

    • DMG mounting does not work on iOS 5.x.

      • Issue that if a non-existing folder is referenced in iFile's preferences, iFile still shows the spinning wheel forever. As a workaround you can delete iFile's preferences file /var/mobile/Library/Preferences/eu.heinelt.ifile.plist. Make sure that iFile is not in the background and use ssh, winscp, putty, Cyberduck or a tool like these to delete the file.
      • Using a URL like ifile:///<path> does not go to that path in the file browser for files and does not work at all if the URL refers to a directory.
      • Registration fails for some users on certain networks. (reason unclear)

      • Issue that if a folder iFile starts with did not exist, iFile shows the spinning wheel forever. (partially fixed in 1.5.0-2)
      • Crash when transferring a file from iFile to iFile (sender crashes). (fixed in 1.5.0-2)
      • When a user chooses select all, iFile does not enable the toolbar buttons. (fixed in 1.5.0-2)
      • Crash when tapping on folder in search results of hierarchical search. (fixed in 1.5.0-2)
      • Opening files in iFile via URL ifile:///<path> does not work anymore. This is a problem in context with Attachment Saver and Safari Download Manager. (partially fixed in 1.5.0-2)
      • Crash when choosing a viewer for a file without known type for 4th time. (fixed in 1.5.0-2)
      • Registration fails for some users on certain networks. (reason unclear)

      • Pressing Done after a file name change in Attributes Editor does not close the Attributes Editor.

      • PDF Viewer crashes on iOS 4.2.1 on start.
      • PDF and Image viewer crash after a file had been opened for 3rd or 4th time.
      • Trash icon remains disabled after swipe-delete of a file.
      • Image Viewer does not show files opened via Open with..., e.g. iTunesArtwork.
      • Zoom-in via double-tap in Image and PDF Viewer zooms in infinitely.
      • iFile crashes when opening certain password-protected rar files.
      • Text Viewer GUI is screwed up when using text search in landscape mode.
      • Property List Editor fails on save of strings files.
      • Text Viewer not registered as default viewer for plist, strings etc. files.
      • Attributes Editor does not work for files on a flash disk (SDCard or USB Stick) because of iOS bug.

      Release 1.3.2-1

      • Audio Player does not react on touches on iOS 3.1.x and 3.2.x. This got fixed in iFile 1.3.2-2.

      • Emailing Attachments (fixed in iFile 1.3.2-1)
        • Contacts are not available in Email. Please do following to enable them again:
          • Go to /var/mobile/Library
          • Press Edit button
          • Select AddressBook directory
          • Press Action button (lower right button)
          • Choose Copy/Link
          • Press Done button
          • Go to /var/root/Library
          • Press Edit button
          • Press Action button
          • Choose Create Link
          • Now you should get all your contacts when emailing attachments.
      • Opening files from Mail or Safari works only if iFile is NOT in the background. (fixed in iFile 1.3.2-1)
      • When playing a playlist in Audio Player and iFile is in background, iFile does not start playing the next song. (fixed in iFile 1.3.2-1)

      Release 1.3.0-2

      • File Browser
        • Add to ZIP dialog is behind keyboard on iOS4 (fixed for next release).
        • iFile crashes on iOS4 when a user tries to create a link via the Add File/Directory/Link form (fixed for next release).
      • Emailing Attachments
        • Contacts are not available in Email form on iOS 3.x.
      • PDF Viewer
        • Goto Page dialog is behind keyboard on iOS4 (fixed for next release).
        • Password dialog is behind keyboard on iOS4 (fixed for next release).
      • Text Viewer/Editor
        • iFile crashes on iOS4 when a user tries to search in edit mode of the Text Editor (fixed for next release).
      • Web/WebDAV Server
        • The WebDAV server cannot be accessed from the built-in Windows 7 WebDAV client (non-standard behavior of client).

      Release 1.3.0-2

      • iFile crashes on startup on iOS 4 (fixed in release 1.3.0-2).
